JD Stanley III showed a mock up of the Personal Travel Assistant. it is pretty interesting. it is all about the individual's choices. Singapore and San Francisco are working to develop this as a service from the city.

need to look up the paper which he wrote on Digital Swarming [http://www.scribd.com/doc/7823300/Digital-swarming-by-JD-Stanley-of-Cisco]

Rafaele Gareri - Director of Innovation and Territory Development. Territory of Brescia, Italy
it is an area which is wealthy and has a good innovative tradition. they like to promote new technologies in some areas. he described a project in which they are working with young people and information. they have created a 'device' that uses bluetooth to interact with kiosks. it was not clear what the information was, nor the device. He is a nice guy, but the aim of the project was not clear until the second presenter.
it is about a breathalyzer linked with ride sharing. it is really cool. [http://www.vimeo.com/2398567]

Jared Blumenfeld - City of San Francisco.
he presented their eco targets which are incredibly aggressive. then he went on to present the EcoMap which really looks good. it is there to allow the public to get a better idea of the status of their city. they have the car data from the department of motor vehicles that can be queried zip code by zip code. you can look at the city

great session!
